Josiah Media Festival Screening: Block #5

This year’s Josiah Media Festival will take place entirely online, premiering the first two weekends in December 2020 and re-screening through January 2021.

Today’s block of ten films + one workshop will begin at 10am CST and repeat every two hours thereafter for a full 24 hours! Watch all six blocks to catch the best 60 films by media artists 21 and under from around the world AND all six student workshops on film craft.

1pm Josiah Media Festival: Workshop on Lighting and Drone Filmmaking

As part of our annual Josiah Media Festival, URBAN-15 is offering free online filmmaking workshops for middle and high school students! These workshops are free and can be viewed on our website OR on our Facebook.

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of November 23-27, join us at 10am and 1pm for an exciting workshop facilitated by Dago Patlan of the Film School of San Antonio at Harlandale High School, who discusses best techniques for two- and three-point lighting, especially for use in interviews. We also feature Adam Dusenbury of White Cloud Drones, returning with “A Day in the Life of Whitecloud,” part two of our workshop on drone filmmaking.
