Mega Corazón 2026 has officially kicked off! This year, URBAN-15 has diligently worked alongside 19 of the state’s most talented poets to deliver some of their most impactful pieces to date. These poets all bring a perspective affected differently by the current circumstances we all live in. This year, we asked all our poets to dig deep to create standout performances, and they have delivered.

Now, we humbly ask you, our audience, to vote for the poet you resonated with the most. Who made you shed a tear, made your consider issues from a different perspective, or made you feel nostalgia? You may enter the answer to this question in the voting section down below, but remember, only one vote per person, so please choose wisely.

The votes for this year’s Mega Corazón will be tallied at the end of National Poetry Month and the winner will be awarded the $500 Gregg Barrios “Precious Words Prize”. Past winners of the “Precious Words Prize” include Amalia Ortiz, Tilton, and Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson, all of whom participated in this year’s festival.
