Music/Media Internship Available at URBAN-15

URBAN-15 is accepting applications from college students interested in a paid Summer Internship with us. The program will be open to currently enrolled undergraduate college students who are Bexar County residents attending a college or university in Bexar County or outside of the county.

This is a ten-week program with both in-studio and at-home work responsibilities. This Internship is funded by Bexar County as part of Generation NEXT, the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts’ initiative to develop arts leadership skills for the future.

SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP:
1) The selected INTERN will be responsible to Artistic Director and Music and Media Director in media preparation for URBAN-15’s 50th Anniversary during the summer of 2024.
2) The selected INTERN will participate in production for URBAN-15’s content development for live and distance-learning music and dance classes for seniors and youth.

RESPONSIBILITES:
• Work with A/V staff in cataloging video and audio materials in various formats ranging from cassette, VHS and open-reel content for use during 50th Anniversary events.

• Participate in streaming productions of The Summer Equinox Performance (June 21), the opening event of the 50th Anniversary events.

• Provide staff support in URBAN-15 live/distance-learning classes.

SKILL SETS should include:
• Comfort level with MS Office Suite (Excel and Word)

• Fast learner in video transfer and editing software
