Start a Workshop

Are you interested in developing a Cultivation class or program with URBAN-15 for your school or center?  Contact us at 736-1500 or email us at and send us this information:

Your Name, Contact number and Contact Email
Your Principal’s or Director’s Name, Contact Number and Contact Email
The address for your school or center (we can also hold the workshop at our facility if you have transportation)
The time of the class
The size of the group we’ll be working with
and of course, the type of program you’re interested in.  We offer three types of programs:

One-Time – The URBAN-15 Teaching Staff will meet with your group for one percussion or dance class.

Residency – The URBAN-15 Teaching Staff will meet with your group for a preset amount of time (such as a week, a month, etc), teach our trademark rhythms, and end with a finished production.  This style of program is one we have produced annually at Mission Academy.

Ongoing – The URBAN-15 Teaching Staff will meet with your group continuously, developing an ensemble with its own musical style and that regularly performs at productions and events.  We have a program like this at the District 5 Senior Center (Rhythm Royale ensemble – check it out on the Classes page).

Once we’ve received this information we will:
—check our availability
—send you a rates sheet
—write up an agreement contract

If you accept the the rates and agreement contract, then we can confirm your reservation!  At this point we’ll ask for stage specifications or images, and start putting together your workshop!  For examples of what you can expect out of a performance, visit our:
