URBAN-15’s FREE Afro/Latin-Infused Dance and Percussion classes at Berta Almaguer Dance Studio & Community Center will be offered as an intergenerational activities for participants of all ages working together. These classes bring a mix of music and dance practices from the Afro/Latin and contemporary traditions.

At the end of this open call period, URBAN-15 will hold auditions based on materials from the classes.

Mirroring our regular open call, this workshop series will be split into two sections, dance classes every Saturday in March and percussion classes every Saturday in April.

For interested Dancers: Classes held SATURDAYS – March 2nd, 9th, 16th , 23rd and 30th

For interested Drummers: Classes held SATURDAYS – April 6th , 13th , 20th , and 27th

Workshops will be held at Berta Almaguer Dance Studio & Community Center at 138 S Josephine Tobin Dr. begin and end promptly from 10 to 11 am.
