URBAN-15 is happy to announce its participation in this year’s San Antonio River Foundation Nature and Arts Series: Bioluminescence. In a world premiere work by URBAN-15, “Lights in Play” will be a breathtaking coalescence of dance, video, light reflections, and sound choreographed by Artistic Director Catherine Cisneros and featuring soundscapes by composer George Cisneros. 16 dancers and drummers will intertwine with the audience to evoke the motion of nocturnal creatures and manipulate circular mirrors to reflect the digital images of their brilliant bioluminescence onto the dome of Confluence Park’s remarkable architecture and dance floor.
